What Can I Help You With?

While I'm the librarian for the STEM fields of interest, I'm available to help any PC student. I can help you form a research question, brainstorm strategies for tackling your research, make sense of the research you find, and cite your sources.  Besides being a teaching librarian, I am also the web/discovery librarian, so if you run into any technical issues, such as accessing our library databases, I can help you troubleshoot.

Experience/Education:

I joined Phoenix College in 2001. Before that, I worked at Eastern Washington University as the government documents librarian.  Before that, I worked at the University of Botswana as the education librarian and at Lake Forest College, a small liberal arts college outside of Chicago, as a reference and instruction librarian.  My degrees include:

  • BA, Sociology, University of Vermont
  • MA, Sociology, Northwestern University
  • MS, Library and Information Science, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
