Determining the type of source can help your evaluation of it

Library session activity: Back to Padlet - much the same as before but doing something different!

Guidance on evaluating your sources can range from long lists (see reading for Module 4):

  • accuracy
  • credibility of the content
  • author's credibility or authority
  • source credibility
  • references/documentation/links
  • objectivity vs bias
  • currency (aka how old or recent is the content)

to shorter ones (see tab on this guide Evaluate the Conversation)

  1. Stop
  2. Investigate
  3. Find other sources
  4. Track

Choose what works for you!
