National Nutrition Month

Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' theme, "Eat Right, Bite by Bite," promoting that making small changes to diet can have a cumulative effect on health over time.  Come checkout what our librarians and Nutrition Faculty, Stephanie Green, have provided to patrons to checkout. Comes interact with the "Fats in Food" and take a look at "Eat your Veggies."

Deep within the Tombigbee Swamp, Wiley and the Hairy Man centers around a young fatherless boy, his conjure-woman mother, faithful dog, and the Hairy Man hwo haunts Wiley's days and dreams.

Empty Bowls 2019

Join Phoenix College on Food Day as 'Empty Bowls' continue to fight hunger. A $10.00 donation for handmade bowls (to keep) with pasta, cookie, and drink. All proceeds donated to Andre House to feed the homeless. Come see a few designed bowls in our main glass case as well as smaller exhibits pieces on each level.
