Artificial Intelligence

A guide on how generative AI may be used responsibly and ethically in student coursework.

Generative AI

Generative AI (GenAi) is a branch of artificial intelligence that can be used to create new content, such as text (i.e., a recipe, cover letter, poem, short story, summary, etc.), programming code, or artwork (i.e., mimicking a particular painter's style). GenAI uses algorithms to mimic human creativity and generate new materials based on existing content.
