How to Use This Guide

This guide is the primary resource for your CRE101 assignment.  Each tab will walk you through important concepts, skills, resources, and instructions to complete the assignment.  In addition, this guide provides additional information for some of what we've covered in class for your reference.

This assignment encourages you to explore important issues within your field of interest.  In doing so, you will discover where to find relevant information in your field, as well as gain a better understanding of how information in that field is created, shared, and utilized.  To accomplish this, we will introduce two important concepts that will help you to analyze and synthesize information:

Authority is Contextual and Constructed; and Scholarship is a Conversation

Go to the next tab "Start Here: Research as Conversation" to learn more about these concepts and to prepare for our research session with a PC librarian.
