Library Culture Pass Program: Limited Venues Available

Art that inspires and engages, hands-on science that excites and educates, history that brings the Valley alive, plants and animals from here and around the world - all of this and more are waiting for you at the Library!

Check out a free general admission pass for up to two people at participating cultural institutions!

Select a destination to visit.
Bring the laminated card to the circulation desk.
You will receive a date-due slip that admits 2 people to the destination through the date printed on the slip.
Restrictions may apply. Check with the destination prior to your visit.
Redeem the slip for admission tickets by the printed date. The slip is valid for seven days from the time of check-out.

One pass at a time per person per week. First come, first served, until the passes run out.
The passes are not renewable and no hold requests can be placed on the Culture Passes in the Library catalog.
Passes are put out by 9 am at the end of the checkout period.

The laminated cards in the Library are not redeemable for admission and remain in the library.

Metro Phoenix Area

Cave Creek Museum (Cave Creek) -- Open from October 1st to May 31st. The artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District
Desert Botanical Garden (Phoenix) -- Plants from across the world. Culture Pass valid for general daytime admission only and excludes ticketed events and exhibits
Gilbert Historical Museum (Gilbert) - Museum housing artifacts & photos from the town's history, plus a gift shop, in a landmark building.
Heard Museum (Phoenix) -- American Indian art collections. Culture Pass valid for general admission only and excludes ticketed events
Phoenix Art Museum (Phoenix) -- Expansive collection of acclaimed art spanning from the Renaissance to the present.
- Maricopa CC students including PC students can get free admission through 2025. Bring your student ID.
S'edav Va'aki Museum (formerly Pueblo Grande Museum) (Phoenix) -- The remains of the prehistoric Hohokam people’s ballcourt and platform.
River of Time Museum & Exploration Center (Fountain Hills) - The fascinating history of the Lower Verde Valley region.
Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (Scottsdale) -- Culture Pass valid for general admission only.
Superstition Mountain Museum (Apache Junction) -- 12-acre spot featuring exhibits with regional artifacts & folklore, plus an Elvis chapel on site.

Metro Tucson Area

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (Tucson) -- Natural history museum combining live animal exhibits & demonstrations with botanical gardens.
Reid Park Zoo (Tucson) -- Expansive zoo with daily activities, wide variety of animals & various attractions for all ages.
University of Arizona Museum of Art (Tucson) -- Sprawling collection of artwork & sculptures spanning the Renaissance to the 20th century.

Northern + Rural Arizona

Arcosanti (Cordes Junction) -- Guided tour of Italian architect Paolo Soleri’s urban laboratory integrating architecture and ecology (arcology).
Besh Ba Gowah Archaelogical Park and Museum -- One mile southwest of the City of Globe, Arizona, stand the ruins of the ancient Salado people who occupied the site nearly 800 years ago.
Desert Caballeros Western Museum (Wickenburg) -- Museum housing displays & exhibits focused on the Western heritage of the town of Wickenburg.
Lowell Observatory (Flagstaff) - Beginning November 1st
Sedona Heritage Museum (Sedona) -- Center for regional history, events & education in a preserved family farmstead.
The Arboretum at Flagstaff -- Open from May 10th to October 31st. A popular destination for local and out-of-town visitors to learn about native plants and animals.
Verde Valley Archaeology Center (Camp Verde) - Museum showcasing regional archaeological heritage with artifact exhibits & a hands-on kids' area.
