Practice searching for sources

Instructions:

  • Team up in groups of two
  • Using the library resources we reviewed:
    • Work independently to find one article OR one book about your research topic (5 mins)
    • Pair up with your partner to share how you found your source (3 mins)
    • Prepare to share the title, author, name of publication OR call number if it's a book, and how you found it with the class! (5 mins)
      • You can write this info on the back of your K|W|L notecard. Here is an example of what it might look like:
        • Title: How to read a suit: a guide to changing men's fashion from the 17th to the 20th century
        • Author: Lydia Edwards
        • Title of Publication OR Call Number: GT1710 .E36 2020
        • Keywords used: menswear and suits
