The class project for RDG100LL provides students with an opportunity to showcase the active reading strategies they have learned throughout the course and how they can apply these to a range of literacy needs including reading, writing, and information literacy. The specific course competencies addressed are:
1. Evaluate the elements of one's reading practices for successful literacy application in a particular discipline.
2. Adapt one's reading process to the demands of particular discipline literacy situations.
The project is broken into three parts, each part requires that you explore your field of interest (FOI) in a different way and using different sources. Students can navigate through the steps on the left-hand menu. The final tab--"Contact Us"--will direct you to a variety of ways to get help through the library.
